What is Future Tech Score? This calculator measures your readiness for the AI-driven future of work. It evaluates your current tech skills, learning habits, and adaptability across key dimensions to give you a scoreโthe higher your score, the better equipped you are to thrive in a rapidly changing technological landscape.
How It's Calculated Your score is calculated by combining five weighted factors: Tech Skills (how comfortable you are with AI tools), Learning Habits (how often you upskill), Adaptability (your openness to new technologies), Digital Presence (your online professional visibility), and Future Outlook (your strategic awareness of tech trends). Each category contributes to your total score.
Score Ranges Explained 0-40 (Developing): You're at the early stages of tech adoption. Focus on building foundational AI tool usage and commit to weekly learning. 41-70 (Growing): You have solid tech foundations. Now focus on deepening your AI tool proficiency and expanding your digital presence. 71-100 (Future-Ready): You're ahead of the curve. Consider mentoring others and staying current with emerging technologies.
Limitations This score reflects your current self-reported readiness, not your actual job performance. It doesn't measure domain expertise, soft skills, or industry-specific knowledge. The tech landscape evolves quicklyโyour score today may not reflect your readiness in six months.
Using Your Results Use your score to identify specific areas for improvement. If your Tech Skills score is low, start with beginner-friendly AI tools. If Adaptability is low, challenge yourself to learn one new digital skill each month. Remember: the goal isn't perfectionโit's continuous improvement and staying engaged with technology.
Example: Say you rate your Tech Savvy as Medium (30), your AI Usage as Daily (50), and your Learning Pace as Average (30). Add those up: 30 + 50 + 30 = 110 / 150. That crosses the 100-point threshold, landing you in the ๐ Future Ready range.
Your score combines three self-rated factors โ Tech Savvy, AI Usage, and Learning Pace โ each scored from 10 to 50 points, added together for a total out of 150.
Above 100 out of 150 is considered future-ready. Scores between 70 and 100 show solid progress, and anything below 70 suggests it's a good time to build foundational AI tool habits.
No โ it reflects self-reported readiness, not actual job performance, domain expertise, or soft skills. Treat it as a starting point for identifying where to focus your learning.
